BOOKINGS 

To confirm your place you must pay in full within the three days of completing the enrolment form. In normal circumstances, we will not hold your place for longer than this time. Payment may be made through the secure online card facility (inclusive of an additional 2.9% + 0.30). All course costs are GST inclusive. 

CANCELLATION BY US 

If we cancel a course, you will be notified no less than 2 days before the course start date. You may choose to transfer the cost to an alternative course or receive a full refund, to be administered within 10 days of the course cancellation. 

  

CANCELLATION BY YOU 

​All courses cancelled by you within 3 days prior to the course start date are non- refundable. If you cancel a course between 4-10 days before a course start date, you will receive a refund of 70%. Cancellations made more than 10 days before a course start date will be refunded in full, less a $50 administration fee. Please note that no refunds are given if you begin a course and subsequently decide not to continue 

COURSE TRANSFERS 

You may request a course transfer up to 5 days before a course start date, subject to availability. Transfers are not permitted once a course is underway, and unfortunately, missed individual classes cannot be made up due to the structure of our courses. 

  

NON - ATTENDANCE 

If you are unable to attend a class due to illness or personal reasons, please understand that you will not be entitled to a refund or transfer.  We kindly request that you notify us of your absence by emailing info@tetuhi.art, so that we aren't expecting you. Due to the teaching style and subject matter, we are not able to provide any classes online. 

 

CLASS POSTPONEMENT 

In the event of an unscheduled occurrence, such as staff sickness, we will endeavour to prevent class cancellation and to provide a substitute tutor. If we are unable to do this, the class may be postponed at very short notice and a replacement class re-scheduled. Should this situation arise we will make every effort to contact class participants as soon as possible and appreciate your understanding.​ 

STUDENT CONDUCT 

All students are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully while participating in our courses. Inappropriate conduct will initially result in a verbal warning, followed by a written warning if necessary. Ongoing breaches of our conduct policy may lead to expulsion from the course, with a possible loss of rights to continue studying at the school.

We ask all students to adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Be considerate of others in the class​; students, tutors and guests. 

  • Follow all teaching instructions provided by the tutor. 

  • Respect school property and the belongings of others. 

  • Avoid disrupting the teaching program, including refraining from the use of mobile phones and music devices during instructional time. 

  • Refrain from intimidating, confrontational, or harassing behaviour towards other students or staff. 

  • Use school property only for its intended purposes. 

  • Avoid any anti-social behaviour or causing offense to others. 

  • Do not photograph teaching content without obtaining consent from the tutor. 

  • Do not photograph other students or their work without obtaining their explicit permission. 

  • Do not possess or use illegal drugs or substances on school premises. 

  • Avoid intoxication on school premises. 

  • Be courteous and polite when visiting industry / trade-only showrooms  

  • When visiting homes that are open to the class for viewing, refrain from taking photographs, opening cupboards, or making derogatory comments.  

PERMISSIONS 

Students enrolling in NCSID course 

  • You agree to allow the school to use photographs taken during class or industry visits that may feature you on our social media platforms  

  • You agree to allow your projects to be photographed and saved as examples for future students to learn from. 

  • You agree to allow your tutor to share your work on social media platforms if they deem it appropriate and representative of the course. 

 

DISCLAIMER 

The school will make every effort to ensure that all courses proceed as advertised on the website or through related publicity material. However, all courses are subject to minimum enrolment numbers and we reserve the right to cancel any course where minimum numbers are not reached. We also reserve the right to make minor modifications to any course content as we see necessary, without prior warning and without compromising the overall quality of the course content, structure and delivery.
