Victoria Gaylard
BHSc

Looking for a change in career direction, Victoria began the Nanette Cameron School course as a student in 2018, where she was introduced to SketchUp. She enjoyed it so much, she sought to further her skills in the CAD program which lead to a 3½ year role at an award-winning, interior design studio in Auckland where she produced all their digital drawings – floor plans, elevations and 3D models for both residential and commercial spaces.

In mid-2022 Victoria embarked on a new journey setting up Victoria Gaylard Design – an interior design studio specialising in kitchen, bathroom and bespoke cabinetry design and commenced studies for a Diploma in Kitchen Design.

Victoria has been the SketchUp tutor at NCSID since 2021 and the Technical Drawing tutor since 2022.  She is passionate about life-long learning and enjoys teaching students how to create and present hand-drawn and digital drawings and design documentation, to enhance their design scheme presentations.
