What does this course enable me to do?

Our one year foundation course provides an extensive grounding in all aspects of interior design. You will be introduced to design history, fundamentals and communication methods, and learn to apply these principles to residential contexts.

On completion of the course, you will have the confidence and skills to work on interior renovation or build projects with other industry professionals.

This course is an excellent stepping stone into entry-level design roles or employment in the industry, such as in showrooms and studios. You may also use it as a foundation to take on further study in spatial design or architecture.

The Nanette Cameron School is committed to providing students with the best possible start to their interior design career, with the foundation course offering a broad introduction to design fundamentals and application. The course does not cover business skills or practical insights for running a design practice.
